A personal letter from Keith
Dear First Southern Family,
I can’t even begin to share with you how excited Jeanette and I are to be with you on November 4th. Like many of you, God has used First Southern to shape our faith and our walk with Christ in significant ways. Jeanette and I were baptized at First Southern, we were married at First Southern, we raised our children at First Southern, and we were called to ministry at First Southern. I will forever be grateful to God for planting our church in our community to reach and transform people like us!
As I have watched First Southern over the years, I believe we are at our best as a church, when we are focused on reaching the lost in our city with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are at our best when we are helping people grow in their faith and in their discovery of the wonder and majesty of God. Our purpose and mission has not changed. We have a great past, but I believe with all my heart we have an even greater future. I will end with this question: Has there ever been a more important time to give people a credible offer of the gospel and a place to grow and be loved in our city? Father, may it be so!
