This year’s theme is “FINISH”
Theme Verse: Philippians 1:6 “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.”
As God began a work in us through salvation, He is also sanctifying us day by day. Our commitment is to faithfully engage with Him along the way through the practice of spiritual disciplines, such as prayer, meditation, bible study, worship, ministry, and generosity.
This year, students will unpack this theme with the following daily teaching points:
Tuesday: Focus – Getting our minds right for the mission of our faith. We are not who we will be, so we must fix our attention on the One who is working to complete us.
Wednesday: Form – Putting in the technique, discipline, and effort to, as Paul put it, “live up to what we have already attained.”
Thursday: Fortitude – The Christian life holds no guarantee of ease. There will be points where we must push through.
Friday: Finish – Ultimately our goal is to fight the good fight and finish well in our walk with Jesus. We do this through His power, which mightily works within us.
